This policy covers the services that we offer through this website.

What's not covered in this policy?

Our services sometimes link to services run by other companies. For example, our website is hosted by our hosting partner Squarespace, some of our online forms are hosted by Wufoo and Active Campaign, our shopping cart is driven by SnipCart, Stripe is the payment gateway we use to process credit card payments and our videos are hosted on Vimeo and YouTube. Those companies have their own privacy and cookies policies, so remember that the information you give them will follow their own rules.

How do we protect your personal information?

We're strongly committed to keeping your information safe. We do not store credit card information. If you have any concerns that your account or personal information has been put at risk, for example if someone could have found out your Gecko Depot password, please let us know.

Where we store your information?

Data we keep is stored in part by Squarespace in multiple Tier III data centers across the United States, by Salesforce and Active Campaign in Canada and the USA, on Microsoft Azure and Snipcart servers in Canada.

. Your initial password (for support purposes). You can change your password at anytime by following the “forgot my password” procedure at login. Your new password will not be stored in our database.

Device information

Devices include computers, mobile phones and tablets. We automatically receive some technical information from your device. This information may include the name of the website from which you entered our website, if any. The information may also include the IP address of your device, your web browser type, the type of mobile device, your computer operating system, and data about your browsing activity when using our website. We use all this information to analyse trends among our users to help improve our website.

Payment information

When you purchase products through the Gecko Depot Europe online store, we get limited information about your payment card from Stripe, the payment gateway we use. This information includes your name, postal address, email address, the last four digits of your payment card, the country of issuance and the expiration date.  Stripe uses and processes your payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not store credit card information

How long will we keep your personal information?

We retain information that we collect from you only for as long as we need it for legal, business, and/or tax purposes. Your information may be retained in electronic form, paper form, or a combination of both. When your information is no longer needed, we will destroy, delete, or erase it.
